Outback Brass Album Launch by Melbourne Social Club

Outback Brass presents the launch of their newest album featuring the vibrant compositions of renowned Australian composer Maria Grenfell at the historic Hunter Baillie Memorial Church. The single-day concert on 19/04/2026 starts at 4:00 PM and runs for approximately two hours, showcasing a program that blends Baroque precision with contemporary flair, including pieces like Dancing at the Camerata, NGA Fanfare, and J.S. Bach's Little Fugue in G Minor. The ensemble consists of trumpeters Phill O'Neill and Jonathan Baker, horn player Simon Jones, trombonist Gareth Lewis, and tuba player Scott Frankcombe. Performed in a venue known for its incredible acoustics, the event highlights the rich textures and technical prowess of the modern brass quintet. Tickets are available for $20 or $30 including the new album.
