Art Classes Term 2 2026 by Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre

Art Classes Term 2 2026 is a series of free community art classes held every Friday from April 24 to June 26, 2026, at the Craig Family Centre in Ashburton. Volunteer-led sessions from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM introduce diverse mediums like watercolours, air-drying clay, and Christmas card making, with rotating artists sharing their specialties over two-week periods. Open to adults of all skill levels, the program fosters a relaxed, supportive environment for learning techniques and connecting with others. Participants can also bring personal craft projects to enjoy the social atmosphere. Opportunities exist for community members to volunteer as instructors.
