Art Mondo by Incinerator Gallery

Art Mondo is a specialized program for individuals in the early stages of dementia and their support persons, such as professional caregivers, adult children, or partners. Held on three dates—24 April, 22 May, and 5 June 2026—from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM AEST at Incinerator Gallery, it combines discussions, social interaction, and hands-on creative activities modeled on national and international gallery initiatives. Designed and led by Barking Spider Creative, the sessions aim to improve cognitive function, reduce stress, enhance emotional well-being, and foster community connectedness in a small group of up to five participants plus support persons. The intimate setting emphasizes participant dignity, free choice, and accomplishment, with accessibility features including ramps and parking, though the lift is small.
