Art Express by Transgender Victoria - Peer Support

Art Express is a monthly drop-in creative arts therapy class designed for transgender, gender diverse, non-binary people, and their family or friends, held on 28 April 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM AEST at Affirmation Station in Brunswick East. Participants engage in guided art activities focused on self-expression, identity exploration, and social connection, facilitated by Tiger Salmon Tiger, a queer artist and Visual Art educator with a Master's in Therapeutic Arts Practice. The event is free, with registration required to secure a spot, and emphasizes community care through COVID safety measures like free masks, ventilation, and air purification. It is neurodivergent, POC, and all abilities friendly, though restricted to those 16 years and over. Affirmation Station serves as Australia's first trans-led community hub run by Transgender Victoria.
