Heidi Biggin Fundraising Painting Night by Ballaarat Mechanics' Institute

This single-day fundraising painting event supports Heidi Biggin, a participant in The Ballarat Foundation’s Dancing with our Stars, who lost her eyesight in 2010 but continues an active life. Participants join Heidi and her guide dog Freya for a 3-hour guided session on May 16, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at The Art Club Hub, painting a 30x40cm canvas using blindfolds and low-vision simulation glasses. The intimate 24-person group includes nibbles, raffles, games, and stories, with all proceeds benefiting the foundation. Attendees take home their creation, with aprons and materials provided; BYO drinks and wear messy clothes. Restricted to 18+ years.
