Shoreline offers a full day of immersive somatic and compositional dance practice on 26 April 2026 at Anglesea Memorial Hall and surrounding coastal areas. The morning session from 10:00 to 12:30, led by Kim Sargent-Wishart, focuses on fluid patterns, perception, and guided improvisation incorporating movement, writing, and photography. The afternoon field trip from 14:00 to 16:30, guided by Emily Bowman, explores site-responsive dancing with natural elements like rock, wind, and sand through contact improvisation and choreographic strategies. Participants can attend one or both workshops, with options for solo, partner, and group practice. Suitable clothing, water, and a notebook are recommended, with teas and supplies provided.
