LGBTIQA+ Family Violence Training by Multicultural Council of Tasmania

The LGBTIQA+ Family Violence Training is a one-day session designed for family violence practitioners and professionals working with individuals of all genders and sexualities experiencing intimate partner violence. Scheduled for March 5, 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Devonport Library, this training will cover essential topics such as LGBTIQA+ fundamentals, specific abuse types, and inclusive practices. Participants will gain valuable insights into supporting LGBTIQA+ victim/survivors of family violence, based on a trans-inclusive feminist approach. Refreshments will be provided, and spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
