DJ Workshops for Youth by CyberActivities, Inc.

DJ Workshops for Youth is an inclusive series of skill-building sessions for ages 13-24, held every Sunday across multiple terms from May 3 to December 6, 2026, at Pasadena Community Centre. Participants learn essential DJ techniques including beatmatching, mixing, vinyl basics, effects manipulation, live streaming, and performance skills, preparing for live shows onsite and offsite. Led by experienced facilitator DJ Aaronac, a South Australian DJ with disability sector expertise and trainer qualifications, the workshops offer two daily sessions from 10:30 to 12:00 or 12:30 to 14:00. Registration is for the full term at a cost of $5, with preference for City of Mitcham residents or students; all with an interest in music are welcome. Funded by Carclew grant, the program emphasizes accessibility and safety.
