Take Six Flinders by Mount Lofty Music Club

Genesis Baroque presents Take Six @ Flinders, a single-day chamber music concert on 16 May 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at St John's Anglican Church in Flinders, Victoria. The program features Mozart's Grande Sestetto Concertante (after Sinfonia Concertante K.364) and Brahms' Sextet Op.18, No.1, performed on period instruments by violinists Jennifer Kirsner and Meg Cohen, violists Stephen King and Anna Webb, and cellists Josephine Vains and Natasha Kraemer. This intimate event explores the string sextet repertoire's expressive range, from lush and dramatic to deeply intimate. Founded in 2017, Genesis Baroque is renowned for its historically-informed performances of 17th and 18th-century music. General admission tickets are available for $50.
