Black Joy by PAE Libraries

Black Joy is a single-day celebration of Black excellence, honoring the depth, beauty, and complexity of Black culture through resilience, creativity, and community in Naarm. The event features performances by DJ Fresh Princess, Bonnet baby, Tavonga, Bappy, Silva, and Kimani, alongside sharing food, laughter, and music in a home-inspired space created by and for Black people. Scheduled for 17 May 2026 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Little Homey in Brunswick, it centers Black voices, stories, and artistry. This intentional gathering provides a affirming environment to connect and tune out the outside world.
