Ascolta Women Speak by Team AVCon Inc

Ascolta Women Speak is a literary reading event featuring local authors from Ascolta Women Inc., an intergenerational collective of Italian Australian women writers and artists formed in 2020. Authors will read from their latest anthology 'Stories from Il Corpo (the body)' in English with Italian phrases, followed by a Q&A session. The single-day event takes place on 2 May 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM ACST at Goodwood Books. Attendees can browse the bookstore's collection and purchase Ascolta anthologies and tote bags. Organized with support from Goodwood Books, it highlights Australian Italian migrant women’s stories.
