Scrub Club Tuesday Stem by Second Nature Conservancy formerly GWLAP

Scrub Club Tuesday STEM is a 10-week recurring program for children ages 5-10, featuring hands-on experiments led by Jenny Westall at the Mount Barker Community Centre - External Room. Running every Tuesday from April 28 to June 30, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM ACST, sessions cover topics like Forces, Geology, Chemistry, Marble Runs, Magnetics, Physics, Earth Science, and more, with at-home extension activities. The program fosters critical thinking, curiosity, motor skills, problem-solving, and social skills through inquiry-based learning tailored to children's interests. Younger siblings are welcome with separate sciency toys, though not participating in main activities due to small parts.
