Anarchive: Digesting the World is a single-day event on 23 May 2026 from 12:00 to 18:00 at Adelaide Contemporary Experimental, exploring archival gaps as a generative force for social and artistic change. It features talks by speakers from Artlink's Experimental Art: Rattling the Archive, including Doris Poon on Hong Kong's Videotage archive, alongside screenings of experimental videos. Performances throughout the day include Jingwei Bu's Sipping Piece, Oriana Julie's eat me (carcass), Tikari Rigney's Cubicle Confessional, Tayer Stead's touch tutorials, Aiden Hughes' Untitled, and improvisations by Helium Liu and Jazmine Deng. The event concludes with dumplings made from Shenshen Zheng’s suān cài and a musical performance by Bedlam Rigney. Tied to the Anarchive exhibitions at ACE and FUMA, it highlights twelve new commissions and South Australia's post-object art history, emphasizing bodily knowledge, participation, and experimentation.
