Sensory Friendly Outdoor Playgroup by The Hut Community Centre

The Sensory Friendly Outdoor Playgroup is an inclusive weekly series designed for pre-schoolers and their families, running every Wednesday during school term from April 29 to July 1, 2026, at The Hut Community Centre. Activities feature garden spaces, sandpit, water play, art, crafts, quiet areas, balance and coordination exercises, sensory experiences, and free play, with special accommodations for neurodiverse children including sensory flexible spaces and pre-event information about facilitators and the site. Sessions occur from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM ACST, costing $2 per child, with registration allowing attendance at multiple dates. Supported by a donation from Red Cacao Stirling, the program emphasizes inclusive practices in collaboration with the Adelaide Hills Council.
