Double Slink King Island by St George’s

Double Slink King Island 2026 is a double-bill dance performance held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at King Island Town Hall in Currie, Tasmania. Led by Adam Wheeler and Sarah Groth, with featuring artists Lily Alcock, Izzy Lockett, and students from King Island District School, the event offers two one-hour sessions at 1:30-2:30pm and 6:00-7:00pm. Act One presents a new work created by and for local school students, using Slinkys to explore themes of connection. Act Two is a professional duet employing Slinkys to delve into analogue play and human connection amid a screen-dominated world. Tickets are priced at $10, with free entry for children under 16, making it accessible for families.
