Pre and Post Death Open Conversations is a monthly recurring series held on the 4th Thursday from April 23 to July 23, 2026, at the Victor Harbor Library Community Meeting Room. Hosted by Melissa Newman, a Death Doula and End-of-Life Consultant from Rising Strong Holistic Healing, these free 90-minute sessions from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM ACST provide a safe space for open discussions on death, dying, grief, and spirituality. The events aim to normalize these topics, reduce fears, and empower participants through unbiased, heart-centered conversations without judgment. Light refreshments are available, with the cafe open until 4:00 PM, and registration is required. Melissa draws from her personal experience of loss and professional expertise to foster community connection and conscious preparation for end-of-life matters.
