The Investigators Garden Club presents a free community performance of The Compost Play, a funny and immersive theatre show for school holidays that explores healthy ecosystems through seed saving, composting, planting, and the wonders of living soil. Following the 25-minute play, children aged 5-10 can participate in hands-on activities like 'The Hidden World of Soil' or 'Magic of Seeds,' each lasting 25 minutes. The event takes place on 23 April 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 at St Bede's Hall & Community Garden in Semaphore, South Australia. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian, with tickets required for all attendees. Organized by the Port Environment Centre, it highlights innovative education on the cycle of living things, developed by Jacqui Hunter of Hunter Gatherings.
