Qyma Section 9 Central by Somerville House

The 2026 QYMA Section 9 (Central) features primary school choirs and Year 6 ensembles from schools including Somerville House Cantabile, A.B. Paterson College Boys’ Chorus, Redeemer Lutheran College Choristers, and others. This single-day choral event takes place on May 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Somerville House Valmai Pidgeon Performing Arts Centre in South Brisbane. Hosted by Voices of Birralee, a Brisbane-based not-for-profit organization founded in 1995 that supports young singers, the performance offers general admission seating on ground level. Performers do not require tickets, and options include adult tickets at $15, concessions for school-aged children at $10, and free entry for children on laps. Doors open 15 minutes prior to the 6:00 PM start.
