Around the Track Exhibition Launch by Hear For You

The Around the Track Exhibition Launch marks the opening of a new exhibition and short film at Landsborough Museum, celebrating the history of athletics on the Sunshine Coast from grassroots beginnings to glory. The event on April 10, 2026, from 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM includes an official launch by Cr David Law, a talk by film producer Chris Peckham, a screening featuring local athletics stories, and a presentation by Dr Kate Kirby on research into local clubs. Attendees can enjoy morning tea, try the Bungee Run Inflatable Challenge, and be the first to explore the exhibition. This free, family-oriented event is funded by the Arts and Heritage Levy and hosted by Cultural Heritage Services.
