Early Animation Technology by Innovation Lab

The Early Animation Technology workshop offers an engaging introduction to the history of animation as a screen medium in art and film. Scheduled for February 15, 2025, from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Innovation Lab, participants will learn to create their own frame-by-frame animations using Photoshop for a Phenakistoscope and a Zoetrope device. Attendees will take home custom-designed devices to continue their animation journey. This workshop is designed for individuals aged 16 and over.
