Folclore on the Sunshine Coast by Cristian Trujillo

Folclore on the Sunshine Coast is the second workshop in Motus Integrated Arts' 2026 community program, offering an introduction to Argentine folklore traditions through dance, live music, and cultural exchange. Facilitated by Argentinian artists Pia Giacomini and Agustina Cora (Gushi), with live music by Nahuel Méndez and Dole Posleman, participants learn basic steps of Chacarera and enjoy a Zamba performance in a welcoming environment requiring no prior experience. The single-day event takes place on 18/04/2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 at North Shore Community Centre in Mudjimba, including a post-class tea and mate sharing session for reflection and connection. Open to all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, it emphasizes accessibility with English facilitation, Spanish translation, and support for specific requirements via email.
