HMCollective presents Stravinsky's Soldier's Tale, a theatrical concert fusing chamber music, narration, and dance based on the 1918 Russian folktale of a soldier who trades his violin for a magic book from the devil. Performed in Stravinsky's Trio version for violin, clarinet, and piano, the production features Artistic Director Myee Clohessy, clarinettist Alexandra Donaldson, pianist Luke Bowen, narrator Maree Tynan, and dancers from Whiteley College. This single-day event takes place on 15 May 2026 from 5:30pm to 7:45pm AEST at Bowral Memorial Hall, marking the first staging in the Southern Highlands. The 60-minute performance intertwines spoken word, music, and dance in a playful yet haunting experience. Family-friendly pricing includes Under 18 tickets at $20 and Family (2+2) at $140.
