Soulwave Dance Sunset is a guided silent disco and ecstatic dance experience held on the foreshore at Warners Bay Podium, promoting free-form movement as a form of medicine and joy. Taking place on 26 April 2026 from 4:45 PM to 6:20 PM AEST, the event features AI-generated funky music with uplifting lyrics, limited to 18 headsets for an intimate gathering. Participants engage in barefoot dancing without choreography, in a drug and alcohol-free, LGBTQIA+ inclusive space, followed by optional post-dance swims, chats, and coffee. It emphasizes personal reconnection, releasing heavy energy, and community connection on the stunning Newcastle beaches.
