CanYouAfro The Mini Festival by no_organiser

CanYouAfro: The Mini Festival is a full-day celebration of community, dance, music, and Afro culture at Ashfield Town Hall on May 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The event features drum and dance workshops with Lucky Lartey (West African Dance) and Elisi (Amapiano), a 2v2 open-style dance battle (CanYouAfro Vol.6) judged by Stacy a.k.a Red, Tiff a.k.a Lil Red, and Joshua a.k.a JJ, a Lucky Road Show performance, and an afterparty with DJs Kimani and Lady Chika. Supported by the Inner West Council through The Cultural Connection Grant, it offers full-day access for $10 per person with free entry for kids, making it explicitly family-friendly. The dance battle includes a $500 prize and requires online registration closing May 15.
