Roots & Rhythms presents its First Edition, an intimate live music night focused on emerging artists from multicultural communities across NSW. Held on May 5, 2026, at Lazy Thinking in Dulwich Hill from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the event features performances by Adnin Hossain, a Bangladeshi storyteller musician; Dharmic Whiskey, blending bossa nova and jazz; and DJ Smriti with South Asian-inspired electronica sets. Designed for deep listening and connection in a close-knit setting, sessions are filmed and shared online to amplify diverse voices. Proceeds support the Community Care Fund for culturally responsive mental health aid, with food and drinks available. The event emphasizes kindness, inclusivity, and accessibility upon request.
