Guitar and Bass Lessons by Mara Schwerdtfeger

Guitar and Bass Lessons is a 10-week recurring group course held every Wednesday from April 15 to June 24, 2026, at Redfern Community Centre. Participants learn to read simple music notation, chord fingering, scales, and song material, with sessions divided into Beginner (3:00pm-4:15pm), Youth/Tweenies (4:15pm-5:00pm), and Advanced (5:00pm-6:00pm). The program emphasizes performance skills for an upcoming concert setting. Students prepare material to perform at Family and Culture Day Community events hosted at the same venue. Participants should bring their own guitar; amplifiers are supplied.
