Monday Night Confessions by Karma County

Monday Night Confessions is a weekly showcase of original jazz and improvised music held at Church Street Studios in Camperdown, Sydney. On 25 May 2026, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the event features Sabine Tapia's inventive seven-piece ensemble 'Koro', blending contemporary jazz, folk, and ambient music with multiple vocalists, double bass, guitar, piano, and drums. Following is a performance by Lauren Tsamouras on piano and Tom Avgenicos on trumpet and electronics, drawing from recent ABC Jazz releases with influences from Greek folk, minimalism, and dynamic improvisation. Doors open at 7:30 PM; BYO drinks. Tickets are $15 for students/concessions and $25 general admission.
