Multi award-winning performer Darren Coggan presents 'The Poems, Prayers & Promises of John Denver', a tribute show honoring the legendary singer-songwriter's iconic songs such as Take Me Home Country Roads, Rocky Mountain High, Annie's Song, and Thank God I’m A Country Boy. This single-day event takes place on 16 May 2026 from 7:30pm to 9pm at Avoca Beach Theatre. Coggan delivers vocal authenticity and musical storytelling, recreating the voice of a generation in a personal reflection on John Denver's prolific career. Wheelchair spaces are available, and tickets are priced at $61. Hosted by Laughing Bird Arts Association, the show celebrates cultural events for the Central Coast NSW community.
