The Barada Flute Quartet by G Gunning Focus Group

The Barada Flute Quartet makes its debut performance in the uniquely exceptional Gunning Courtroom, featuring a program of classical and early romantic treasures by Haydn, Ferdinand Ries, and Mozart's Flute Quartet No. 1 in D major, K285. This newly formed ensemble includes flautist John Smiles and three string players, two from the renowned Mainly Mozart ensemble. The single-day event takes place on April 11, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM AEST at the intersection of Yass Street and Warrataw Street in Gunning, NSW. Hosted by the Gunning Focus Group, which has promoted affordable classical music in the region for over 20 years, the concert offers an intimate chamber music experience in a historic venue.
