Readers Books and Conversation with Kathryn Heyman

Readers - Books and Conversation is a monthly series featuring in-depth discussions with authors about their work and creative processes. This single-day event on 30 April 2026, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Petersham Bowling Club, spotlights award-winning author Kathryn Heyman, hosted by Michaela Kalowski. Heyman discusses her latest novel Circle of Wonders, a poignant exploration of terminal illness, family dynamics, grief, and reconciliation inspired by her personal experiences. Book sales and signings will be available at the door. Note that the venue requires entry via 12 stairs and is not yet wheelchair accessible, though plans for improvements are in place.
