Eating Our Way to Extinction by Tweed Regional Museum

Eating Our Way to Extinction is a single-day film screening and expert discussion event held on 22 April 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM AEST at The Murwillumbah Citadel. The program features the documentary accompanied by a book authored by Gerard Wedderburn-Bisshop, who will join Veet Karen, Australia's first professional plant-based chef and nutrition instructor, for a post-screening discussion. Presented by Caldera Environment Centre and Tweed Climate Action Network, the evening addresses environmental and dietary themes related to extinction and sustainability. Vegan curry will be available on site, enhancing the plant-based focus of the event.
