This book club event explores the question 'Does vegan food have enough flavour?' through personal experiences with dining out and home cooking, building on last month's discussion of flavour combinations. Participants will reference two cookbooks: 'VEGAN with BITE' by Shannon Martinez, influential Melbourne chef behind plant-based venues Smith + Daughters and Smith + Deli, and 'NOURISHED BY NATURE' by local vegan cook and nutritionist Pandora Colledge. Ticket holders receive PDF excerpts from both books. The event spans two sessions over April 24-25, 2026: Friday from 18:00-19:15 at Plantation Hotel's quiet Boardroom with vegan options and happy hour, and Saturday from 10:30-11:45 at Palate & Ply Cafe with brunch.
