Didge and Dance Program by Karma County

The 2026 Didge and Dance Program is a weekly cultural initiative organized by Onerwal Local Aboriginal Land Council for Aboriginal children aged 6-16 living in the Yass Valley. Running every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM between 30 April and 10 September 2026 at Berinba Public School, the program features hands-on activities such as dance, didgeridoo carving and playing, dress making, weaving, and cultural learning, guided by experienced facilitators. Snacks and water are provided weekly to support participants. The program culminates in a special community performance showcasing the children's achievements in culture, confidence, and connection to Country.
