Tap Sundays by The Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA)

Tap Sundays offers weekly tap dancing classes every Sunday from 9am to 12pm at 575 Pacific Hwy, St Leonards, running across 2026 terms from February 1 to September 27, with breaks for holidays. Led by professional tap dancer and choreographer Tommy J Egan of The Tap Pack, along with guest mentors, the sessions cater to various levels: Junior class for 9-12 year olds (9-10am), Adults Beginner/Intermediate with jazz focus (10-11am), and Intermediate for 13+ emphasizing musicality (11am-12pm). The Tap Project provides a non-competitive environment celebrating tap as an African American art form, prioritizing development, community, and improvisation. Participants can enroll in full terms at $250 or class passes starting from $25, fostering skill growth from beginners to advanced dancers.
