An Intimate Gathering for South Lebanon is a single-evening event curated by Zeinab Mahfoud, featuring multiple screenings of the film Buffer Zone, acoustic oud performances by Abou Saleh, and shared stories reflecting on resistance, displacement, and existence in South Lebanon. Held on April 27, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Season ARI in Zetland, the event offers a quiet, intimate space for grieving, witnessing, and reaffirming South Lebanese narratives amid ongoing challenges. It includes works from artists Farrah Berrou, SOL Museum, Alaa Mansour, and Leen Aoun, following a prior exhibition at Shopfront Arts Co-op. Proceeds are split equally between Soufra Kitchen, a Palestinian catering NGO in Beirut, and the event's South Lebanese creatives.
