Addi Road Cooking Meals For Community by Flight Path Theatre

Addi Road Cooking Meals For Community offers fortnightly volunteering sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 21 April to 29 December 2026, running 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Addison Road Community Organisation in Marrickville. Participants join the Addi Road chef to cook nutritious meals using rescued ingredients, supporting food relief for over 8,500 people weekly while diverting 12 tonnes of food from landfill. Each session includes an introduction to Addi Road's impact on human rights, arts, culture, and sustainability, followed by hands-on cooking and a guided tour of the historic community space. Aimed at small groups of 3-6, the experience involves manual labour and requires casual clothing with enclosed shoes. Light refreshments are provided, with on-site cafes available for breaks.
