Tissages du Temps is a single-day concert tracing over three centuries of French musical innovation, from high Baroque to spectralism, presented as a vibrant continuum of imagination and influence. Featured performers include Australia's Lyrebird Brass ensemble, pianists Kristian Chong and Timothy Young in a two-piano realization, and Geneva's Ensemble Contrechamps. The program features works by Marc-Antoine Charpentier, François Couperin, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Maurice Ravel, and Gerard Grisey. The event takes place on 2 May 2026 from 7:30pm to 9pm AEST at Snow Concert Hall in Red Hill, ACT, as part of the Canberra International Music Festival. Age-discounted tickets are available for younger attendees with accompanying adults.
