The Rotary Melbourne & RMIT FORaMEAL Volunteering event is a single-day session on 23 April 2026, where participants join students and Rotary members to pack nutritious meal kits for disaster relief in the Asia Pacific. Hosted at RMIT University's Building 10 (Casey Building), the core activity runs from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM AEST, with setup at 3:30 PM and packup until 7:00 PM. FORaMEAL, a Rotary Canterbury project since 2017, has delivered over 500,000 meals through volunteer efforts, blending carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and vitamins for emergency aid. Volunteers receive hats and gloves for hygiene and work in a production line to seal ingredients for shipment. Advance booking is required to ensure sufficient materials, and an optional post-event meal and drinks are available nearby at attendees' cost. All are welcome to contribute to this impactful cause.
